Many teams and groups have approached us looking for Meet Up space. We like to think of it as an opportunity for you to choose your own adventure. Maybe your group meets in the pool, on the beach, or perhaps in your hotel room. It really is up to you. However, if you need a more formal space, it is a bit more challenging.
The dining facilities are not a good choice for a anything more than an informal meal and conversation. Please do not try to host a meeting in the dining rooms. The dining facilities also have strict limitations on group sizes (maximum of 10). See the Food and Drink FAQs for more info.
Unlike our previous conference in North Carolina, where we had an abundance of meeting rooms, we are rather limited at this property. All of the meeting rooms are being used Sunday-Tuesday. We don’t have access to the Convention Center meeting rooms on Wed (except for one session from 7:30-8:30pm). That leaves us with only a small handful of options Thursday-Saturday.
If you cannot choose an adventure and need one of these formal meeting rooms, please read on. You may submit a request and will will do our best to get you a space.
Please note:
There will be no sound or support from the AV provider.
There will be no services provided by the hotel (no custom set-up, clean-up, drink services, etc.)
There is no support or services from Novo. Besides us getting you a room.Some rooms may have a projector that you can use.
You will be responsible to reset the room to better condition than you found it.
The Meet Up will not be announced or added to the Conference agenda. You should use the Meet Up feature in the app to get word out.
You may only request ONE time frame.
The meeting/Meet Up time frames are as follows:
11:30-1:00pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday
4:00-5:30pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday
2:00-3:30pm on Saturday only
